Et gribende drama baseret p\u00e5 filosoffen Hannah Arendts liv og t\u00e6nkning.<\/p>

Forestillingen tager os med til 1975, hvor Arendt er i K\u00f8benhavn for at modtage den ber\u00f8mte Sonningpris. Her konfronteres hun med stemmer fra fortiden, der f\u00f8rer hende p\u00e5 en intens og turbulent rejse gennem hendes liv, de valg hun traf, og de politiske teorier hun pr\u00e6senterede. Vi f\u00f8lger hende p\u00e5 flugt fra nazisterne i 1930'ernes Berlin, som statsl\u00f8s i Frankrig og USA og som korrespondent for The New Yorker under retssagen mod topnazisten Adolf Eichmann.<\/p>

Forestillingen afspejler nutidens udfordringer med antidemokratiske bev\u00e6gelser, totalitarisme og populisme, som rejser sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l om vores ansvar som mennesker \u2013 sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l, som Arendt selv udforskede gennem hele sit liv.<\/p>

The time is now, the place is Hitler’s F\u00fchrebunker, the man is Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s loyal Minister of Propaganda and Enlightenment, a man who can’t die until his mission is completed.<\/p>

Down in the bunker, Goebbels sends his daily dispatch via Art, Culture, and Communication produced by RADIO FREE GOEBBELS. Here, he teaches his loyal listeners the importance of culture and its link to propaganda. “You don’t change a culture with weapons, you change a culture with culture.” In walks Leni Riefenstahl, the film director of the Third Reich, and their dance of death begins.<\/p>

Rhea Leman wrote HITLER ON THE ROOF in 2010, inspired by the harsh right-wing tone that appeared in the Danish political arena. Unfortunately, the play’s message is more relevant today (2026) than ever before.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
